Safety within our Homes
Housekeeping excellence is the foundation of every Red Barn Vacations stay. In addition to our rigorous standards, we are providing additional sanitation of all high-touch surfaces, are monitoring and following all CDC recommendations, and are laundering duvets between every guest stay. (Other vacation rental companies in the area use a variety of comforters and quilts on beds that do not get laundered between every guest stay.)
Meanwhile, our inventory of excellent homes are full of home amenities that make will keep you happily homebound, without ever having to leave the home. Hot tubs, private pools, private docks, pool tables, and fire pits make it so you’ll never want to leave.
When searching our site, you can even search for homes with a ‘Dedicated Remote Work Space’ if you are one of the many Americans now working remotely.

Contactless Deliveries
Red Barn Vacations is the only local rental company offering a full-service concierge service to our guests. Whatever you want— we can make it happen. Popular services include grocery and liquor delivery, ski and snowboard rental delivery, and boat and paddleboard rentals in the summer. We’ll coordinate the order, pick up the required items, and deliver them to the house, all before you even arrive.
Additionally, Walmart, located in Oakland, has an online order pickup area where guests grab their groceries from the safety of their car.
Safety at Wisp Resort
For guests staying with us this Winter, we can assure you that Wisp Resort has implemented a wide-range of safeguards to ensure that guests can enjoy a day of winter fun in a safe environment. These safety measures include extensive cleaning protocols, requiring masks/face coverings when in lift lines, not mixing groups/guests on the ski lifts, and more.

Wisp Resort is limiting the number of tickets purchased each day, for the Snow Tube park and the Ski Slopes, so we recommend buying tickets in advance of your stay.
Outdoor Activities
No matter the season of your visit, Deep Creek is full of outdoor activities where distance can be maintained with ease. We’ve got hiking, winter snow activities, boating, swimming, horseback riding, kayaking, and more. While popular local parks, like Deep Creek Lake State Park and Swallow Falls State Park, can be enjoyed safely, there are also many more local hiking areas that get almost no foot traffic— like the Rock Maze Trail and the Cranesville Swamp Preserve!
